Astana Open Dialogue is launching a new area of activity — expert surveys on the most pressing issues on the agenda of Kazakhstani and international researchers, representatives of academia, corporate business, and government agencies.
We present the analytical review “Trump’s Tariff Wars: How Will They Affect the Global Economy and the Economy of Kazakhstan”.
The survey was conducted in April 2025. More than 50 experts participated, representing the fields of political science, economics, international relations, public administration, energy, education, journalism, and telecommunications.
Among the respondents were representatives of organizations such as the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, KazISS, IMEP, the Public Opinion Research Center, UNDP Kazakhstan, the Senate Administration of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Narxoz University, and others.
