Meeting Between Astana Open Dialogue and the Delegation of the European Union in Kazakhstan
A meeting between the co-founders of Astana Open Dialogue and the delegation of the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Kazakhstan took place in Astana.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the renewed EU Delegation — Aaro Ylitalo, First Counsellor and Deputy Head of the Delegation, and Marius Puodžiūnas, Officer of the Political, Press, and Information Section.
During the discussion, the parties explored prospects for developing cooperation between Astana Open Dialogue and the EU Delegation in Kazakhstan. Particular attention was paid to academic exchange, expert collaboration, and the development of joint initiatives.
During the meeting, Alexandr Danilov emphasized the importance of expanding joint expert activities and strengthening cooperation between think tanks in Kazakhstan and the EU member states. The dialogue also touched upon issues of international and regional cooperation, as well as prospects for deepening partnership ties.
