Astana Open Dialogue hosted a meeting with ISIA Secretary General Domenico Palmieri at its office. The meeting was attended by Astana Open Dialogue Co-Founder Aibek Kumysbekov, Director of Organizational Development Kamilya Tleubayeva, and International Cooperation Coordinator Aigerim Smagulova.
During the meeting, Domenico Palmieri personally presented Aigerim Smagulova with the Italy–Asia Research Award and once again congratulated her on winning the competition. The award was presented in recognition of her research on the prospects for cooperation between Italy and Asian countries.
Domenico Palmieri was introduced to the activities of Astana Open Dialogue, its key areas of work, and ongoing analytical projects. The meeting also featured Astana Open Dialogue’s collection of analytical reports and the results of expert surveys conducted by the platform on current regional and international issues.
Particular attention was given to strengthening expert engagement. The participants discussed prospects for further cooperation, knowledge and expertise exchange, and the development of joint analytical initiatives.
Following the meeting, the both sides agreed to continue their expert dialogue and further develop cooperation between Astana Open Dialogue and ISIA.
