A meeting was held at the Astana Open Dialogue office with a delegation from the British think tank Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), with the participation of a representative of the British Embassy.
RUSI is one of the oldest and most authoritative research institutions in the field of international security and defense policy.
The meeting was attended by Rosalind Roberts, Director of Research; Urban Conningham, Head of Training and Fellow for Middle East; Alastair Greig, member of the Training Team and Researcher on Serious and Organised Crime; as well as Samuel Mills, Head of the Political Section at the British Embassy.
The discussion focused on regional security, cybersecurity, digital resilience, and the development of transcontinental transport and logistics connectivity across Eurasia. Particular attention was given to the impact of emerging technologies and artificial intelligence on public administration and societal stability.
Following the meeting, the two sides agreed to continue their cooperation, exchange expert assessments, and develop joint analytical projects.
