Astana Open Dialogue welcomed a delegation from the Embassy of Israel led by Yoav Bistritsky, Ambassador of the State of Israel to the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the meeting, the representatives of the Embassy were introduced to the activities of Astana Open Dialogue. The delegation was presented with Astana Open Dialogue Bulletin analytical reports as well as the results of expert surveys. The Embassy representatives emphasized that such analytical work plays an important role in understanding the socio-political structure of modern Kazakhstan.
Ambassador Yoav Bistritsky also highlighted the importance of Kazakhstan’s decision to join the Abraham Accords. He noted that this step is significant and requires thorough analytical support to assess its long-term implications for Kazakhstan and the Central Asian region.
The parties exchanged views on prospects for bilateral cooperation in the expert and analytical sphere and expressed their readiness to strengthen collaboration. Following the meeting, both sides agreed to maintain ongoing contact, exchange information, and further develop joint analytical initiatives.
