On December 4, a meeting took place between Astana Open Dialogue and the Embassy of Georgia. During the discussion, the parties reviewed the current state and future prospects of Kazakhstan–Georgia relations, including economic cooperation and regional initiatives.
Ambassador Levan Diasamidze highlighted Georgia’s growing interest in Kazakhstan and the Central Asian region, noting in particular the importance of the Middle Corridor project for strengthening economic ties between the two countries. He also emphasized the close and friendly nature of Kazakhstan–Georgia relations and underscored that tourism remains one of the most promising areas of cooperation.
Ambassador Diasamidze further noted that Kazakhstan continues to be an important strategic and investment partner for Georgia, with which it has established strong and enduring relations.
The both sides discussed potential areas for collaboration and formats for future cooperation. Representatives of the Embassy expressed their support for the analytical work carried out by Astana Open Dialogue and emphasized the importance of expert engagement in strengthening the partnership between Kazakhstan and Georgia.
