Astana Open Dialogue Marks Its First Anniversary

News of Astana Open Dialogue
Astana Open Dialogue (AOD) began its activities with the inaugural session held on June 7, 2024. Since then, the platform has established itself as a promising and rapidly developing analytical institute, fostering stable cooperation with both international and Kazakhstani expert communities.

Over the past year, AOD has published two analytical collections under the Astana Open Dialogue Bulletin, covering topics such as Kazakhstan’s economic and tax policy, lobbying practices, economic development prospects, identity narratives, and the current state of the media market.

The platform has also achieved significant success in collaborating with foreign research institutions, with growing partnerships in the preparation and publication of both analytical materials and confidential reports.

Among its new initiatives is the launch of closed expert surveys, the results of which will be published on a regular basis. AOD is increasingly sought after for advisory services by both Kazakhstani and international commercial entities, reflecting a heightened interest in the regional market.

Astana Open Dialogue operates as a fully independent institution, self-funded through its activities. This rare attribute allows the platform to act transparently and actively contribute to the development of Kazakhstan and the broader Central Asian region. We believe that open dialogue, collaboration, and partnerships for shared prosperity are the keys to long-term regional development.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all participants, speakers, and partners for their support and contributions to the growth of Astana Open Dialogue. Looking ahead, we anticipate new discussions, research, and joint solutions for a sustainable future for Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

The results of Astana Open Dialogue’s activities, expressed in figures, are presented below.
